The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge Development: Understanding the basic principles of scuba diving
- Confined Water Dives: Learning the fundamental scuba diving skills
- Open Water Dives: Reviewing your skills and exploring!
If you’ve previously tried diving with a Discover Scuba Diving experience, the skills you’ve learned may count towards part of your full PADI Open Water Diver certification.
Prerequisites:
To enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must be at least 10 years old.
