Description
The EFR Instructor course allows you to become a certified trainer to teach first aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to others. This program will provide you with the skills needed to teach Emergency First Response (EFR) in various contexts, including CPR for adults, children, and infants, as well as the use of automated external defibrillators (AED) and emergency oxygen.
Emergency First Response courses also cover workplace first aid training, complying with international safety standards for workplace safety.
EFR training is designed to be flexible based on participants' needs and schedules. It can be taught together or separately.
What You Will Learn
The EFR Instructor program focuses on training laypersons in first aid techniques and principles, equivalent to those taught to healthcare professionals but in a non-professional context. This course is designed to build the confidence of these responders by offering a relaxed, stress-free learning environment so they can effectively prepare for medical emergencies.
Prerequisites:
All PADI instructors must be current Emergency First Response Instructors or hold an equivalent first aid and CPR instructor certification.
